June is National Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Month, which is the perfect time to start adding more fresh fruits and veggies to your diet to help you feel your best. Keep these delicious smoothie recipes in mind to easily increase your fruit and veggie intake each day.

Banana Ginger Smoothie

  • 1 sliced banana
  • ¾ cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth

Tropical Papaya Perfection

  • 1 papaya cut into chunks
  • 1 cup fat free plain yogurt
  • ½ cup crushed ice
  • ½ cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 teaspoon coconut extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground flaxseed
  • Blend all ingredients together until frosty and smooth

Berry Vanilla Sensation

  • ½ cup frozen unsweetened raspberries
  • ½ cup frozen unsweetened strawberries
  • ¾ cup unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 1 cup fat free vanilla yogurt
  • Blend until smooth and enjoy immediately

Collard Greens Smoothie with Mango and Lime

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 ½ cups frozen mango
  • 2 cups stemmed and chopped collard greens
  • 1 cup green grapes
  • Mix together in a blender, adding more water if needed

Spinach Smoothie with Avocado and Apple

  • 1 ½ cup apple juice
  • 1 apple, cored and chopped
  • 2 cups stemmed and chopped spinach
  • ½ avocado, chopped
  • Combine all ingredients in a blender until your desired consistency is reached

Spinach, Grape, and Coconut Smoothie

  • 1 cup seedless green grapes
  • ½ cup ice
  • 1 cup baby spinach, packed
  • ¼ cup coconut milk
  • Blend together until smooth
